manufacturer of stainless steel pipe connections from Tübingen,
offers gaskets for clamp connections in more than 40 sizes. But not
enough with that: with special sizes the company fulfils also in
this line of goods costumer requests, which outreach the batch
production.
The clamp gaskets are used with dead space free clamp
connections according to DIN 32676. The gasket is positioned between
two stainless steel flanges, which are enclosed by a clamping ring.
All sizes are in DIN- ISO- and Inch design on offer, from DN 6 up to
DN 300 as well as from ¼" up to 4". The following
materials are available: EPDM, VMQ, FKM, PTFE, and PTFE-FKM
enveloped. All medium touched materials are compliant with FDA. Some
of the clamp gaskets accomplish additionally the requests according
to USP-class VI and TA Luft (German environmental standard).
Certificates of conformity are supplied on request. The gaskets are executed as form gaskets and have two
ring bulges opposite to each other on the side surfaces. The clamp
gaskets for flanges with a diameter of at least 34 mm have except
for some a flange enclosing collar. During assembly the collar
encompasses one of the flanges, whereby the clamp gasket is
self-kept positioned. Thereby one of the ring bulges engages with a
ring groove of the flange. Then the other flange is put against,
whereby the other ring bulge of the clamp gasket engages with the
ring groove of the other flange, so that both flanges are coaxially
centred. While closing the clamping ring the flanges press hard
against the gasket, so that an always tight clamp connection is
guaranteed. Depending on the chosen material the gaskets can be used with working temperatures from -200 °C up to +260 °C. The clamp gaskets are particularly employed in processes with fluid media e.g. milk, beer, wine, fruit juices etc. They are preferentially applied in the biotechnology as well as in the beverage, food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and chemical industry. The comprehensive stock-keeping ensures delivery on short notice.
